Attention!! There has been a schedule change for our Hare Scrambles. The Night Race / 3 Hour weekend has been moved to October 16th and 17th. There will also be a new class this year in the 3 Hour race which is a 2 man, 2 bike open B class.

07/11/2010: SVCC MEMBERS ONLY PICNIC. Wednesday, July 28th. Ride and play until 6 pm, food and soda at 6pm. Trials and skills event after the food, bring your lawn chairs and drinks for the social after the trials event. Questions? 03/25/2010: Monthly Club Meetings will now be at 8:00 PM again to go along with the time change. They are on the last Thursday of the month at the SVCC Clubhouse.
03/16/2010: 2010 Membership Information is available now under the membership tab along with a downloadable membership application. Also, 2010 Memberships will be available for purchase at the SVCC Clubgrounds this year on the following dates:

02/06/2010:THE ICE RACES ARE CANCELLED for 02/07/10. The track conditions are unsafe because of water pockets that didn't freeze on the oval or TT. Mother nature didn't work with us this week!

01/13/2010: Nice weather for the races last week. Thank you racers for having BIG numbers on your bikes and quads! It was great to see some first time racers out there. New pics are posted. Race results will be posted before the next race- thank you for being patient. The track is in good condition and looks to be another great sunday this week - see you then. 01/01/2010: Happy New Year! ICE RACES- with a lot of cooperation and help-the track has been plowed and prepped. The snowbanks are high, the track is smooth and pits are clean! Many days went into snow removal. Sign-up forms are on line if you would like to fill it out before you get to the races. The TT track looks to be challenging. Gates open at 10:00 Practice at 11:00 and Races at HIGH NOON! See you there.
12/28/2009: ICE RACES are on as scheduled for January 3rd. Come check out the new classes-including the snowmobiles! Listen to the races on your radio while watching them. Need to work off some 2009 events? Call Kelly 605-553-3459.

11/30/2009: The Ice racing season is just around the corner. Click the Flyer to check it out. The rules are also posted now and there are some rule and class changes so look them over closely.
11/20/2009: There will be a Hare Scrambles Committee meeting for the 2010 season on December 3rd and 7:00 p.m. This meetin will be at the SVCC clubhouse and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
11/19/2009: For all of you that won year end awards at the banquet through Tucker Rocky, expect your order to be delayed in getting to your local dealer because some riders were not prompt in turning in their forms. The delay is expected to be around 7-10 days.
11/13/2009: There will be a MX Committee meeting on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will be at the clubhouse and everyone is encouraged to attend. We look forward to hearing from members and non-members regarding the 2010 MX Season.
11/10/2009: The monthly club meetings for November and December will be a week earlier due to the holidays. The November meeting will be on the 19th and the December meeting will be on the 17th. See ya there!
11/6/2009: We will be doing a little MX track maintenance today, won't be able to get any water down but at least we'll be able to smooth it out a bit. Should be a great weekend for riding!
11/2/2009: There will be an Ice Racing Committee meeting November 18th, and 7:00 p.m. This meeting will be about Ice Racing rules and classes and everyone is welcome to attend.
10/30/2009: Don't forget to send your RSVP's in for the Banquet. The Banquet is November 7th at the Downtown Holiday Inn.
10/13/2009: We will be having a scheduled work day out at the clubgrounds on October 24th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come out and lend a hand there will be plenty of stuff to do.
Also, don't forget the Banquet is only a few weeks away on November 7th at the Downtown Holiday Inn.

08/28/2009: Just a reminder, elections are coming up soon and nominations with be held sometime next month. We would like to encourage everyone to participate.

7/15/2009: There will be no camping the night before the August 1st Motocross race because of the Short Track race the night before. Any questions, contact Ed.
7/10/2009: The annual Club Picnic will be on July 29th. Food will be served at 6:00 p.m. and there will be a trials competition later on in the evening pending enough participants. Come out and see if you can take down last years champ, Greg Person.
7/07/2009: Just to clarify, the Pre-Sturgis short track race has moved to August 1st. The races on July 25th and 26th are still on as origionally scheduled. See ya there!
6/26/2009: The Pre-Sturgis short track race has been moved to August 1st. Also, if you plan on coming out to came before the MX race the following day. Plan on arriving late after the short track is over.
4/25/2009: Just got the word that the MX Race for tomorrow has been cancelled.
4/16/2009: The racing season is about to start! The MX Committee would like to remind all of its racers that sign up ends at 9:00 a.m. with practice beginning at 9:30 a.m. These times will be diligently enforced this year to ensure the program runs as it should. If you are going to be late for whatever reason you may call in your sign-up and pay when you arrive at the track. Thank you and have a great season!

4/15/2009: There will be a work day this Saturday, April 18th from 12pm - 4pm. We are going to try and get a few things finished up before the races start on Sunday. Don't forget to bring your work gloves. More information can be found on the message board.

1/31/2009: There will be a Motocross committee meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at Godfathers on East 10th Street at 6:30. There will also be a Building committee meeting on Monday, Feb 2nd at the same Godfathers at 7:00. Anyone interested in attending either meeting is encouraged to come.
1/30/2009: It is time to start working on the program book for this year and if anyone has any pictures they think could be used in the program book they should contact Larry at 605-331-2939. They will need to be in his possession on or before Feb. 15th, 2009.

11/23/2008: The monthly club meeting for December will be on the 18th at 7:00 pm since the last Thursday of the month is Christmas.
There will be a committee meeting for Hare Scrambles on Tuesday Nov 25th at 6:30 pm at the Godfather's on East 10th. Anyone interested in helping out with Hare Scrambles is encouraged to come.
Also, we will have concessions available during our upcoming ice racing season. There will be plenty of food available to help keep spectators and racers warm out there.
11/15/2008: The Sioux Valley Cycle Club is looking for a few good people! The club is currently in need of 2009 committee chairpersons for both the Short Track and Motocross Programs. Committee chairs will receive a 2009 SVCC club pass, one season long gate pass and a detailed job description including key event staff budget. If you feel that you may be interested in either of these positions, please prepare a qualifying statement and submit to:

The Novemeber monthly club meeting will be our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out. There will be a turkey dinner served after the meeting. This meeting is again on November 20th at 7:00 pm. See you there!

09/08/2008: To clear up some confussion reguarding our Red Bull Last Mand Standing qualifier race. Our SVCC Red Bull qualifing race will go on as scheduled on 09/27/2008. It is only the 1st place prize that is uncertain at this point.
